PillChex is an app that older people can use to see if the medications they use are on the Beers List, which is a list of medications that are generally considered to be unsafe for use in people over age 65. If a medicine you search for is on this list, the app will show you a series of stories that explain exactly why the medicine is unsafe. These stories are presented in a very easily understandable format. PillChex empowers people to become informed about their medicines and have important conversations with their healthcare providers.
